A Note About the Ceremony

Our wedding ceremony will be a private gathering attended by immediate family and invited guests only. We look forward to celebrating with all our loved ones at the reception immediately following.

What time should I arrive?

The reception begins at 5:00 PM. We recommend arriving 15–30 minutes early to allow time for parking, finding your seat, and settling in before the festivities begin.

Where is the reception taking place?

The reception will be held at Agape Gardens Event Centre in Stoney Creek, Ontario.

Is parking available?

Yes! Complimentary on-site parking is available for all guests.

What is the dress code?

We invite our guests to dress in formal or traditional attire. Feel free to celebrate in your finest outfit — don't worry about overdressing, we love a well-dressed crowd!

What are the wedding colours?

Our wedding colours are chocolate brown, cream, champagne gold, and forest green.

Can I bring a plus one?

Due to venue capacity and seating arrangements, we kindly ask that only guests named on the invitation attend.

Are children invited?

We love your little ones! However, attendance is limited to the guests listed on the invitation.

Will food be served?

Absolutely! Come ready to enjoy a delicious meal, refreshments, and a few treats throughout the evening.

Will there be dancing?

Yes! Bring your dancing shoes and your best moves — we fully intend to celebrate.

Is the wedding ceremony open to all guests?

Can I take photos and videos?

We welcome photos and videos throughout the celebration. We simply ask that you be mindful of the professional photographers and videographers so they can capture the special moments.

Do you have a gift registry?

Your presence at our wedding is truly the greatest gift. If you would like to bless us with a gift, you can find the option of using our gift registry or cash gifts that will go to the couple's honeymoon fund.

Flying In

For guests travelling from outside Ontario or internationally, there are two convenient airport options.

John C. Munro Hamilton International Airport (YHM)

The closest airport to Hamilton and Stoney Creek, approximately 20 minutes away. A smaller, easy-to-navigate airport with shorter wait times.

Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ)

Canada's largest airport with the widest flight selection. Approximately 60–75 minutes from Hamilton/Stoney Creek.

From either airport, guests can reach Hamilton and Stoney Creek by: Rental car, Uber or Lyft, Taxi services, or GO Transit and public transportation.

Is spraying money allowed?

Absolutely! Spraying is a cherished part of many Nigerian celebrations, and we welcome it as part of the festivities. We kindly ask that guests be mindful when spraying and avoid placing money directly on the bride's or groom's face. Instead, please spray respectfully around the couple as we dance and celebrate together.

Can I wear traditional attire?

Absolutely! We encourage guests to celebrate in attire that makes them feel comfortable, confident, and festive.
